Senate Amendments to House Bill No. 1097

 

TO THE CLERK OF THE HOUSE:

 

  THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE SENATE HAS ADOPTED THE AMENDMENTS SET OUT BELOW:

 

 

 

AMENDMENT NO. 1

 

     AMEND after line 128 by inserting the following section and renumbering succeeding section(s) accordingly:

     SECTION *.  (1)  That segment of Mississippi Highway 1 within the corporate limits of the City of Rosedale, Bolivar County, is designated and shall be known as "Joe Pope Boulevard."

     (2)  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway.

     FURTHER, amend the title on line 3 after the semicolon by inserting the following:

TO DESIGNATE A CERTAIN PORTION OF MISSISSIPPI HIGHWAY 1 WITHIN THE CITY OF ROSEDALE AS "JOE POPE BOULEVARD";
