AMENDMENT NO 2 PROPOSED TO

Cmte Sub for House Bill No.  284

     AMEND by striking lines 19 through 33 in their entirety and inserting the following language in lieu thereof:

     "The following municipalities within Hinds County and the Hinds County Board of Supervisors shall have the following appointments to the 911 Emergency Commission:  (a) Jackson shall have seven (7) appointments; (b) Clinton shall have two (2)  appointments; (c) Raymond shall have one (1) appointment and (d) the Hinds County Board of Supervisors shall have three (3) appointments.  All appointments from Jackson, Clinton and Raymond shall be residents of his or her respective municipality and such appointments must be appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the city council or board of aldermen of such municipality."
