House Amendments to Senate Bill No. 2819

 

TO THE SECRETARY OF THE SENATE:

 

  THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE HOUSE HAS ADOPTED THE AMENDMENTS SET OUT BELOW:

 

 

 

AMENDMENT NO. 1

 

     AMEND on line 17 by inserting the following after the word "section":  "and the violation involves prescription controlled substances"

     AMEND FURTHER after line 21 by inserting the following as subsection (4):

     "(4)  Any person who violates this section and the violation involves nonprescription controlled substances shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor and may be punished by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than one (1) year or by a fine of not more than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or by both."

     AMEND FURTHER the title on line 3 by inserting the following before the word "CONTROLLED":  "PRESCRIPTION"
