A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION SUSPENDING THE DEADLINES FOR THE PURPOSE OF REQUESTING THE DRAFTING, INTRODUCTION, CONSIDERATION AND PASSAGE OF A BILL ENTITLED "AN ACT TO NAME THE NEW MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT SECURITY BUILDING FOR THE LATE CLYDE KENNARD, THE FIRST AFRICAN-AMERICAN STUDENT TO APPLY FOR ADMITTANCE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES."
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING THEREIN, That the Joint Rules of the Senate and the House are hereby suspended for the purpose of requesting the drafting, introduction, consideration and passage, regardless of any deadlines imposed by said rules, of a bill entitled "AN ACT TO NAME THE NEW MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT SECURITY BUILDING FOR THE LATE CLYDE KENNARD, THE FIRST AFRICAN-AMERICAN STUDENT TO APPLY FOR ADMITTANCE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES."
