AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARSHALL COUNTY TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO HEADSTART FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDS NECESSARY FOR THE CONTINUATION OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAMS SPONSORED BY HEADSTART; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) during fiscal year 2006, from any available funds of the county, to Headstart for the purpose of providing funds necessary for the continuation of the community service programs sponsored by Headstart.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
