Senate Bill 2817

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI TO CONVEY CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The State Department of Finance and Administration is hereby authorized to sell and convey that certain real property located in the City of Jackson, County of Hinds (First District), State of Mississippi as follows:

Lot 34, Douglass Square, a subdivision according to a map or plat thereof which is on file and of record in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Hinds County at Jackson, Mississippi, in Plat Book 3 Page 86, reference to which is hereby made in aid of and as a part of this description.

SECTION 2. The property shall be sold for not less than the fair market value as determined by two (2) professional appraisers selected by the State Department of Finance and Administration, who are certified appraisers of the State of Mississippi.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
