House Resolution 89

A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE RETIREES OF MISSISSIPPI VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THEIR YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE.

WHEREAS, Tamma Rao and several other employees of Mississippi Valley State University will retire in 2006 after giving many years of their time and service to the students of the university; and

WHEREAS, these retirees are responsible for preparing and grooming an entire generation of future doctors, lawyers, nurses, politicians, teachers, leaders and other role models to face the challenges and victories that the future holds in store for our great nation; and

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the House of Representatives to recognize and commend excellence, especially when evidenced by people who have dedicated so many years of their lives to developing and cultivating the minds and spirits of the many students with whom they have come in contact during their illustrious careers:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby recognize, commend and congratulate all employees of Mississippi Valley State University who will retire in 2006.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to Tamma Rao, all other 2006 retirees of Mississippi Valley State University and to the members of the Capitol Press Corps.
