AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HUMPHREYS COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL TEAMS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Humphreys County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute during calendar year 2006, out of any available funds of the county, an amount not to exceed Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) to little league baseball teams of the county. Such funds may be used to purchase equipment and supplies for the teams.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
