AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF WARREN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE MID-STATE OPPORTUNITY, INC., THE INSTITUTE OF COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC., THE AARON E. HENRY COMMUNITY HEALTH CLINIC, INCORPORATED, AND THE G.A. STOVER HEALTH CLINIC, P.A.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. (1) The Board of Supervisors of Warren County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute, from any available funds of the county, an amount not to exceed Sixteen Thousand Dollars ($16,000.00) to the Vicksburg Main Street Program, during county fiscal year 2006, as an addition to the current budget of the county.
(2) The Board of Supervisors of Warren County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute funds annually, during any fiscal year, to the following organizations in amounts not to exceed the following:
Special Initiative Participant Program......... $ 5,000.00
Boys and Girls Club of Vicksburg............... $20,000.00
Warren Washington Issaquena Sharkey Community
Action Agency (WWISCAA) Homeless Shelter.... $20,000.00
United Way of West Central Mississippi......... $20,000.00
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
