AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARSHALL COUNTY TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE FEDERAL PROGRAM, HEADSTART, A NONPROFIT CORPORATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may provide and expend county funds from any available funds of the county, in an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) during fiscal year 2006, for the purpose of providing funds necessary for the continuation of the community service programs sponsored by Headstart, a nonprofit federal program corporation.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
