Senate Amendments to House Bill No. 1
TO THE CLERK OF THE HOUSE:
THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE SENATE HAS ADOPTED THE AMENDMENTS SET OUT BELOW:
AMENDMENT NO. 1
Amend by striking all after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:
SECTION 1. That the following sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are hereby appropriated out of any money in the State General Fund not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of paying salaries, mileage, insurance, matching funds and the daily expense allowance of the members of the Legislature for the Fifth Extraordinary Session of 2005, as follows:
For salaries, mileage, insurance,
matching funds and daily
expense allowance of members
of the House of Representatives........$ 224,478.00.
For salaries, mileage, insurance,
matching funds and daily
expense allowance of members
of the Senate..........................$ 107,596.00.
SECTION 2. The money herein appropriated shall be paid by the State Treasurer out of any money in the State General Fund not otherwise appropriated, upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or officers, in the manner provided by law.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and through June 30, 2006.
