House Amendments to Senate Bill No. 2004

 

TO THE SECRETARY OF THE SENATE:

 

  THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE HOUSE HAS ADOPTED THE AMENDMENTS SET OUT BELOW:

 

 

 

AMENDMENT NO. 1

 

     AMEND on line 15 after the word "reenacted" by adding the words "as amended"

    

     AMEND further on line 16 by adding the figure "(1)" before the word "The"

     AMEND further after line 22 by inserting the following language:  "(2)  Any calls made for political purposes shall be governed by Section 23-15-875."

     AMEND further on line 154 after the word "reenacted" by adding the words "as amended" 

     AMEND further on line 212 by inserting the following language after the comma "cemetery or monument dealer"

     AMEND further on line 214 by inserting the following language after the word funeral "or death related" and by striking the word "establishment" and insert in lieu thereof the word "establishments" 

     AMEND further on line 384 by striking the date "2008" and insert in lieu thereof the date "2006"

     AMEND further the title on line 3 by inserting the following language after the semicolon: 

"TO AMEND REENACTED SECTION 77-3-703, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT CERTAIN POLITICAL CALLS SHALL BE PROHIBITED; TO AMEND REENACTED SECTION 77-3-711, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE CLARIFYING LANGUAGE IN REGARDS TO FUNERAL ESTABLISHMENTS;"
