AMENDMENT NO 1 TO COMMITTEE AMENDMENT NO 1 PROPOSED TO

Senate Bill No. 3101

     AMEND on line 2133 by deleting the word "and"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 2136 by changing the period to a semicolon and inserting the following:

              "(xiv)  Purchasing equipment for a project defined in Section 57-75-5(f)(viii) subject to such terms and conditions as the authority considers necessary and appropriate."

     AMEND FURTHER the title on line 45 by inserting the following language after the semicolon:  "TO AUTHORIZE THE PROCEEDS OF BONDS ISSUED FOR CERTAIN PROJECTS UNDER THE MISSISSIPPI MAJOR ECONOMIC IMPACT ACT TO BE UTILIZED TO PURCHASE EQUIPMENT;"
