House Amendments to Senate Bill No. 3065

 

TO THE SECRETARY OF THE SENATE:

 

  THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE HOUSE HAS ADOPTED THE AMENDMENTS SET OUT BELOW:

 

 

AMENDMENT NO. 1

 

     Amend by striking all after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

 

SECTION 1.  The following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of the interest and income derived from the Mississippi Fire Fighters Memorial Burn Center Trust Fund and the Mississippi Fire Fighters Memorial Burn Center Escrow Fund to the Mississippi Fire Fighters Memorial Burn Center in accordance with the requirements of Section 7-9-70, Mississippi Code of 1972, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2005, and ending June 30, 2006$        17,607.00.

     SECTION 2.  The funds appropriated under Section 1 shall represent the amount of all interest and income derived from investment of the principal of the Mississippi Fire Fighters Memorial Burn Center Fund pursuant to said Section 7-9-70 and all fees collected under Section 27-19-44(3).

     SECTION 3.  The money herein appropriated shall be paid by the State Treasurer out of interest accumulated in the Mississippi Fire Fighters Memorial Burn Center Fund, upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or officers in the manner provided by law.

     SECTION 4.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2005.
