AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 49-7-57, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROHIBIT POSSESSION OF UNLAWFULLY TAKEN GAME ANIMAL, BIRD OR FISH; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Section 49-7-57, Mississippi Code of 1972, is amended as follows:
49-7-57. Any game animal, bird or fish lawfully taken may be possessed during the open season and during the closed season. Any game animal, bird or fish unlawfully taken may not be possessed at any time.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
