AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TUNICA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRACT OR CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO MID-STATE OPPORTUNITY, INCORPORATED; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Tunica County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contract with and/or contribute up to Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) of funding to Mid-State Opportunity, Incorporated, in fiscal year 2006, to be used for operating various programs in Tunica, Mississippi.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
