House Amendments to Senate Bill No. 3199

 

TO THE SECRETARY OF THE SENATE:

 

  THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE HOUSE HAS ADOPTED THE AMENDMENTS SET OUT BELOW:

 

 

AMENDMENT NO. 1

 

     Amend by striking all after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

 

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute during calendar year 2004, an amount not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00), from any available funds of the county, to the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast, Inc., for the purpose of improvements at the Forest Heights Unit located in the City of Gulfport.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

     Further, amend by striking the title in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

 

     AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE COUNTY FUNDS TO THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS OF THE GULF COAST, INC., FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING IMPROVEMENTS AT THE FOREST HEIGHTS UNIT LOCATED IN THE CITY OF GULFPORT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
