House Amendments to Senate Bill No. 3189

 

TO THE SECRETARY OF THE SENATE:

 

  THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE HOUSE HAS ADOPTED THE AMENDMENTS SET OUT BELOW:

 

 

AMENDMENT NO. 1

 

     Amend by striking all after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

 

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Lafayette County, Mississippi, may contribute annually to the Oxford-Lafayette County Economic Development Foundation, out of any available county funds, an amount not to exceed One Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($125,000.00) during the 2004 calendar year.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

     Further, amend by striking the title in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

 

     AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE OXFORD-LAFAYETTE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION FOR THE 2004 CALENDAR YEAR; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
