AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS ON BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES LOCATED WITHIN 1,000 FEET OF THE OUTSIDE BOUNDARY OF THE NATCHEZ TRACE PARKWAY PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION 55-13-35, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, SHALL NOT APPLY TO EXISTING BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES LOCATED WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF RIDGELAND, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The height restrictions on buildings and structures located within one thousand (1,000) feet of the outside boundary of the Natchez Trace Parkway provided for in Section 55-13-35, Mississippi Code of 1972, shall not apply to buildings and structures within the corporate limits of the City of Ridgeland, Mississippi, existing on the effective date of this act.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
