AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TUNICA COUNTY TO CONTRACT WITH AND/OR CONTRIBUTE COUNTY FUNDS DURING CALENDAR YEARS 2004 AND 2005 TO MID-STATE OPPORTUNITY, INC., IN CONNECTION WITH THE OPERATION OF VARIOUS PROGRAMS IN AND FOR TUNICA COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Tunica County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contract with and/or contribute an amount not to exceed Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) during fiscal year 2004 and not to exceed Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) during fiscal year 2005, from any available funds of the county, to Mid-State Opportunity, Inc., in connection with the operation of various programs in and for Tunica County.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
