AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MONROE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE MONROE COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Monroe County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute funds in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) during the 2004 calendar year, out of any available funds of the county, to the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce and/or its successors.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
