AMENDMENT No. 3 PROPOSED TO

                             Committee Sub. for SB NO. 2648

                             By Senator(s) Burton

     AMEND by inserting after line 45 a new paragraph (f) and renumbering succeeding paragraphs, the new paragraph to read as follows:

          (f)  "Family restaurant" means any restaurant that does not sell or serve alcoholic beverages.

     FURTHER, amend line 75 by inserting after the word "section" the following language:

or is a "family restaurant" as defined in paragraph (f) of this section

     FURTHER, amend line 107 by inserting the words "Family restaurants" in lieu of the word "Restaurants"

     FURTHER, amend line 155 by inserting the words "Family restaurants" in lieu of the word "Restaurants"

     FURTHER, amend lines 159 through 161 by deleting the language ", except for restaurants located in such facilities which shall be subject to the smoking restrictions of this act"

     FURTHER, amend line 163 by replacing the period with a semicolon.

     FURTHER, amend by inserting after line 163 the following:
