AMENDMENT No. 1 TO AMENDMENT No. 1 PROPOSED TO

                             Senate Bill NO. 2953

                             By Representative(s) Eads, Eaton, Montgomery(15), Stevens, Warren

     AMEND on lines 9 and 39 by deleting the figures "1,327,489.00" and inserting in lieu thereof the figures "3,327,489.00"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 31 by deleting the figures "7,034,506.00" and inserting in lieu thereof the figures "9,034,506.00"

     AMEND FURTHER on lines 37 and 41 by deleting the figures "24,391,679.00" and inserting in lieu thereof the figures "26,391,679.00"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 74 by inserting the figure "(2)" before the first word "Of" and by inserting the following language after the period:

     "(1)  Of the funds appropriated under the provisions of Section 1 and authorized for expenditure in Section 3, not less than Three Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,400,000.00) shall be expended by the Veterans Affairs Board for the operation of the four (4) state veterans homes."
