AMENDMENT No. 1 PROPOSED TO

                             House Bill NO. 1667

                             By Representative(s) Committee

     AMEND by inserting a new Section 5 after line 123 and renumbering the succeeding section, the new Section 5 to read as follows:

     "SECTION 5.  It is the intent of the Legislature that the Executive Director of the Division of Medicaid shall maintain the current level of services until such time as the 2004 Legislature convenes."
