                             By Representative(s) Franks, Moody

     AMEND on line 24 by deleting the language "the owner" and inserting in lieu thereof the language "any person or entity"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 27 by deleting the language "the owner" and inserting in lieu thereof the language "any person or entity"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 37 by deleting the language "the owner" and inserting in lieu thereof the language "any person or entity"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 40 by deleting the language "the owner" and inserting in lieu thereof the language "any person or entity"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 44 by deleting the language "the owner" and inserting in lieu thereof the language "any person or entity"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 43 inserting after the word "restoration" the language ", except that such person shall not be immune from any liability which may result from remediating or cleaning the NPL property subject to restoration when he remediates or cleans the property improperly or insufficiently or without complying with any order, rule or regulation of the United States Environmental Protection Agency or Department of Environmental Quality or any state or federal law pertaining to the environment"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 13 by deleting the language "(ii) eligible to be listed on the NPL;"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 14 by changing "(iii)" to "(ii)"
