AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARSHALL COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE LOCAL MATCHING SHARE NECESSARY FOR THE CONTINUATION OF THE COMMUNITY SOCIAL SERVICE PROGRAMS SPONSORED BY THE INSTITUTE OF COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to expend during the 2003 calendar year, from any available funds, an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) for the purpose of providing funds for the local matching share necessary for the continuation of the community social service programs sponsored by the Institute of Community Services, Inc., a nonprofit Mississippi corporation.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
