AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF FORREST COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO CERTAIN ORGANIZATIONS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Forrest County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute during calendar year 2003, out of any available funds of the county, to the following organizations, sums not exceeding, in the aggregate, the indicated amounts:
Association for Retarded Citizens $ 4,500.00
Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Southeast
Mississippi.... 2,600.00
Boy Scouts of America 4,500.00
Dixie Youth Baseball Association.... 3,000.00
Gulf Pine Girl Scout Council 4,500.00
Hattiesburg Downtown Association, Inc. 24,000.00
Hattiesburg Little League Baseball Association.... 3,000.00
Neighborhood Education Enhancement Development
Services (N.E.E.D.S.).... 2,600.00
Salvation Army.. 5,650.00
Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club................ 2,600.00
Forrest County Agricultural High School........... 5,000.00
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
