A RESOLUTION COMMENDING REPRESENTATIVE ROB ROBERSON FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.
WHEREAS, Representative Rob Roberson has served the citizens of House District 37, which includes Oktibbeha and Webster Counties for four years; and
WHEREAS, Representative Roberson, a native of Starkville, graduated from Starkville High School and Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration; and
WHEREAS, Representative Roberson currently serves on the Ethics, Judiciary B, Juvenile Justice, Public Buildings, Grounds and Lands and Universities and Colleges Committees; and
WHEREAS, Representative Roberson has been lovingly supported in all his endeavors by his wife, the former Karen Shurden, and their children, Kelly, Marley and Jackson Tanner; and
WHEREAS, Representative Roberson's congenial nature and willingness to serve have had a positive influence on all those who have had the pleasure of working with this highly respected member of the House:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby commend and express our deepest appreciation to Representative Rob Roberson for his contributions to the legislative process and the people of the State of Mississippi and extend our heartiest wishes for success in all his future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to Representative Rob Roberson and to the members of the Capitol Press Corps.
