A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION SUSPENDING THE DEADLINES FOR THE PURPOSE OF REQUESTING THE DRAFTING, AND THE INTRODUCTION, CONSIDERATION AND PASSAGE, OF A BILL ENTITLED "AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 43-27-11, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, AS AMENDED BY HOUSE BILL NO. 842, 2003 REGULAR SESSION, TO PROVIDE THAT THE NET PROCEEDS FROM INCOMES DERIVED FROM LEASES AND TIMBER SALES ON PROPERTY OF COLUMBIA TRAINING SCHOOL AND OAKLEY TRAINING SCHOOL MAY BE USED ONLY FOR INSTRUCTIONAL PURPOSES OR OPERATIONAL EXPENSES, OR BOTH, AT THE TWO INSTITUTIONS UNDER THE DEPARTMENT'S JURISDICTION IN PROPORTION TO THE REVENUE DERIVED FROM EACH TRAINING SCHOOL; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES."
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, THE SENATE CONCURRING THEREIN, That the Joint Rules of the House and the Senate, including all the deadlines and other provisions imposed by Joint Rule No. 40, are suspended for the purpose of requesting the drafting, and the introduction, consideration and passage, of a bill entitled "AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 43-27-11, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, AS AMENDED BY HOUSE BILL NO. 842, 2003 REGULAR SESSION, TO PROVIDE THAT THE NET PROCEEDS FROM INCOMES DERIVED FROM LEASES AND TIMBER SALES ON PROPERTY OF COLUMBIA TRAINING SCHOOL AND OAKLEY TRAINING SCHOOL MAY BE USED ONLY FOR INSTRUCTIONAL PURPOSES OR OPERATIONAL EXPENSES, OR BOTH, AT THE TWO INSTITUTIONS UNDER THE DEPARTMENT'S JURISDICTION IN PROPORTION TO THE REVENUE DERIVED FROM EACH TRAINING SCHOOL; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES."
