AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HANCOCK COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2003 TO THE MISSISSIPPI CONTRACT PROCUREMENT CENTER; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Hancock County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) during calendar year 2003, from any available funds, to the Mississippi Contract Procurement Center for the purpose of assisting Hancock County by notifying interested contractors and businesses on projects and services for which they are advertising and promoting.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
