AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TUNICA COUNTY TO CONTRIBUTE COUNTY FUNDS DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2003 TO THE INSTITUTE OF COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC., TO ASSIST THE INSTITUTE IN ESTABLISHING AND OPERATING HEAD START CLASSES FOR CHILDREN IN TUNICA COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Tunica County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute an amount not to exceed Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) during calendar year2003, from any available funds of the county, to the Institute of Community Services, Inc., to assist the institute in establishing and operating Head Start classes for children in Tunica County.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
