AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF WARREN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE UNITED WAY OF WEST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Warren County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute during the 2003 calendar year, from any available funds, an amount not to exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) to the United Way of West Central Mississippi to assist in the operation of the "Information Line" service now operated by this agency.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
