AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 63-11-15, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO PROVIDE THAT NO DUI CASE SHALL BE DISMISSED OR A DEFENDANT FOUND NOT GUILTY FOR FAILURE TO PROVIDE FULL INFORMATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Section 63-11-15, Mississippi Code of 1972, is amended as follows:
63-11-15. Upon the written request of the person tested, or his attorney, full information concerning the test taken at the direction of the law enforcement officer shall be made available to him or to his attorney. Notwithstanding anything else contained herein, no DUI case shall be dismissed nor DUI defendant found not guilty, for the reason of there being a failure to provide full information.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2003.
