AMENDMENT No. 1 TO AMENDMENT No. 1 PROPOSED TO

                             Senate Bill NO. 2366

     AMEND on line 34 by inserting the following after the word "state":  "and county"

     AMEND FURTHER on lines 38 and 39 by striking the words "county election officials" and inserting in lieu thereof the following:  "the local registrar and election commissioners"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 50 by striking the words "circuit clerk and other appropriate election officials" and inserting in lieu thereof the following:  "registrar and election commissioners"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 59 by striking the word "relating" and inserting the following in lieu thereof:  "related to but not limited"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 60 by inserting the word "to" after the word "and"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 61 by striking the words "state and counties consider necessary" and inserting in lieu thereof the following:  "law requires"

     AMEND FURTHER on lines 65 and 77 by inserting the following after the word "State":  "with the approval of the advisory committee"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 86 and lines 96 and 97 by striking the words "appropriate county election officials" and inserting in lieu thereof the following:  "registrar or his designee or other appropriate official as the law may require"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 88 by striking the words "appropriate local election officials" and inserting in lieu thereof the following:  "the registrar or his designee or other appropriate official as the law may require"

     AMEND FURTHER on line 89 by inserting the following after the word "system":  "at all times"
