REPORT OF CONFERENCE COMMITTEE

 

MR. SPEAKER AND MADAM PRESIDENT:

 

   We, the undersigned conferees, have had under consideration the amendments to the following entitled BILL:

 

H. B. No. 1144:  CMRS Board; revise various provisions.

 

  We, therefore, respectfully submit the following report and recommendation:

 

 

   1.  That the Senate recede from its Amendment No. 1.

 

   2.  That the House and Senate adopt the following amendment:

 

 

     AMEND on line 418 by inserting the following after the period:

For purposes of distributing the funds to each ECD, every CMRS provider shall identify to the CMRS Board the ECD to which funds should be remitted based on zip code plus four (4) designation, as required by the federal Uniform Sourcing Act.

     An ECD board that has within its jurisdiction zip code designations that do not adhere to county lines shall assist CMRS providers in determining the appropriate county to which funds should be distributed.
