AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE PEARL RIVER VALLEY WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT TO CONVEY TO THE DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE, FISHERIES AND PARKS CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN RANKIN AND HINDS COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. (1) The Pearl River Valley Water Supply District is authorized, in accordance with Section 29-1-1, to convey to the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks certain real property located in Rankin and Hinds County, Mississippi.
(2) Upon the conveyance of the real property described in subsection (1), the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks shall assume all supervision, management, maintenance and control of the property.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
