AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF COPIAH COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO SUPPLEMENT THE SALARY OF THE COUNTY PATROL OFFICERS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Copiah County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may supplement the county patrol officers' salary, as prescribed in Section 45-7-5, Mississippi Code of 1972, in an amount not to exceed Two Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($2,300.00) per month per patrol officer.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
