AN ACT TO PROVIDE A METHOD FOR ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS FROM AGENCIES AND POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS WHICH HAVE NO APPEAL PROCEDURE PROVIDED BY LAW; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Any person aggrieved by an order or action of any governmental agency or political subdivision of the State of Mississippi for which no other appeal procedure is provided by law may appeal therefrom within ten (10) days from the date of adjournment of the meeting at which such order is entered or such action is taken. The appeal shall be taken in the same manner as appeals are taken from judgments or decisions of the board of supervisors as provided in Section 11-51-75, the provisions of which shall be fully applicable to appeals taken pursuant to this section.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2002.
