AMEND BY INSERTING THE FOLLOWING NEW SECTION AFTER LINE 126 AND RENUMBERING SUBSEQUENT SECTIONS ACCORDINGLY:

SECTION 10. None of the funds appropriated under Section 1 or 2 of this act shall be expended for any purpose until the Attorney General petitions the Chancery Court of Jackson County, Mississippi, for an order stipulating that any tobacco settlement payments received after July 1, 2001, shall be deposited into the State Treasury to the credit of the Health Care Trust Fund established under Section 43-13-405.
