SUBSTITUTE 1 FOR AMENDMENT No. 1 PROPOSED TO

House Bill NO. 781

AMEND by striking Section 25 and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

SECTION 25. Section 57-10-449, Mississippi Code of 1972, is amended as follows:

57-10-449. Sections 57-10-401 through 57-10-445 and 27-7-22.3 shall be repealed from and after October 1, 2005.

FURTHER, amend lines 4 and 5 of the title by striking the language after the semicolon on line 4 through the semicolon on line 5 and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

TO AMEND SECTION 57-10-499, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, TO EXTEND UNTIL OCTOBER 1, 2005, THE REPEAL DATE ON SECTIONS 57-10-401 THROUGH 57-10-445 AND 27-7-22.3, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972;
