AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO SHEILA MARIE MCDANIEL A/K/A SHELIA MARIE MCDANIEL OF ALCORN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Sheila Marie McDaniel a/k/a Shelia Marie McDaniel of Alcorn County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of her conviction of the crime of embezzlement in 1997 in Alcorn County, Mississippi. She was sentenced to sixty (60) months probation and discharged April 13, 2000. The Legislature has been reliably informed that she is now conducting herself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
