AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HANCOCK COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE MISSISSIPPI CONTRACT PROCUREMENT CENTER; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Hancock County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute a sum in an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) annually, to Mississippi Contract Procurement Center, a nonprofit organization that aids and assists Hancock County by notifying interested contractors and businesses regarding projects and services for which the county is advertising.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
