AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF JEFFERSON DAVIS COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO PEARL RIVER VALLEY OPPORTUNITY, INCORPORATED; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Jefferson Davis County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute from any available funds of the county not more than One Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($1,900.00) during the calendar year 2001 to Pearl River Valley Opportunity, Incorporated, to be used as matching funds to assist the agency in obtaining state or federal grants or other funding requiring matching funds.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
