AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF FORREST COUNTY TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE HATTIESBURG AREA HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Forrest County, Mississippi, is hereby authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute to the Hattiesburg Area Habitat For Humanity, Inc., out of any available county funds, an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), during the calendar year 2001.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
