AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTIONS 20 AND 21, CHAPTER 575, 1998 GENERAL LAWS, TO DELETE BOTH THE AUTOMATIC REPEALER ON SECTION 99-15-15, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, AND THE PROVISION MAKING IT SUBJECT TO THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. Section 20, Chapter 575, 1998 General Laws, which provides that Section 99-15-15, Mississippi Code of 1972, shall stand repealed from and after July 1, 2001, is repealed.

SECTION 2. Section 21, Chapter 575, 1998 General Laws, which provides that Section 99-15-15, Mississippi Code of 1972, shall be subject to the availability of funds specifically appropriated therefor, is repealed.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
