AN ACT MAKING AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FROM FUNDS DEPOSITED INTO THE STATE GENERAL FUND BY THE SECRETARY OF STATE FROM SPECIAL FUND NO. 3111 TO THE MISSISSIPPI ARTS COMMISSION FOR SUPPORT OF THE MAJESTY OF SPAIN EXHIBITION, FOR FISCAL YEAR 2001.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. In addition to all other sums heretofore appropriated, the following sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any money deposited into the State General Fund by the Secretary of State from Special Fund No. 3111 to the Mississippi Arts Commission for support of the Majesty of Spain Exhibition, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2001................................................$1,000,000.00.
It is the intention of the Legislature that after all debts for the Majesty of Spain Exhibition have been paid, any excess state funds shall be returned to the State of Mississippi.
SECTION 2. The money herein appropriated shall be paid by the State Treasurer out of any money in the proper fund or funds as set forth in this act, upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer; and the State Fiscal Officer shall issue his warrants upon requisitions signed by the proper person, officer or officers in the manner provided by law.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
