House Resolution 25
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING DEDICATED EMPLOYEES UPON THEIR RETIREMENT FROM THE WEST POINT SCHOOL DISTRICT AFTER MANY YEARS OF OUTSTANDING SERVICE.
WHEREAS, the following persons will retire from the West Point School District in 2001 after giving many years of their time and service to the youth of the West Point School District and the citizens of West Point: James Parsons, Gladys Harrison, Shirley Campbell, Merdie Mitchell, Louise Moore, Ann Portera, Brenda Berry, Donna Davis, Zelda Dobbs and Jane Merchant; and
WHEREAS, these retirees have unselfishly dedicated their efforts to assisting the West Point School District in furthering its goals of educating, training and molding the students of the district to be adults and future leaders; and
WHEREAS, the people of Mississippi are extremely proud of
these retirees, who have dedicated so many years of service to West Point and the State of Mississippi in furthering the educational and social development of the students of the West Point School District:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we commend, congratulate and recognize these retirees, who will retire in 2001 from the West Point School District after providing so many years of dedicated service to the youth and citizens of West Point.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to each of the retirees named in this resolution, the Board of Trustees of the West Point School District and to the members of the Capitol Press Corps.
