AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF GREENE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO WE CARE DAY CARE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Greene County, Mississippi, in its discretion, may contribute monies, out of any available funds of the county, in an amount not to exceed the aggregate sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) during the calendar year 2001 to We Care Day Care, Inc., for use as matching funds for grants or other funding from the state and federal governments and for contracting for and funding the operation of any human resource or human service program in Greene County, including, but not limited to, a rural transportation program.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
