AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TALLAHATCHIE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE A CERTAIN SUM OF MONEY TO THE CITY OF CHARLESTON FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD FACILITY BUILDING IN TALLAHATCHIE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Tallahatchie County, Mississippi, is authorized, in its discretion, to contribute to the City of Charleston, Mississippi, from any available funds, during the 2001 calendar year, an amount not to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) for repair, upkeep, refurbishment, improvement or equipping, or for reimbursement for performance of these activities, of the building in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi, known as the Neighborhood Facility Building.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
