AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HANCOCK COUNTY TO DONATE TO SAVE OUR CHILDREN; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Hancock County, in its discretion, may donate, during calendar year 2001, out of any available funds of the county a sum not to exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) to Save Our Children, a nonprofit organization in Hancock County, Mississippi.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
